The Itinerary

Let the journey begin

Day 1 - The Blue & the Green & the City in between

Between the Oslo Fjord and the green hills of Oslomarka nature park lies the Norwegian capital, where the journey starts for our creatives. Oslo is a perfect place for those who like the combination of thriving urban life and exciting outdoor activities. The team will get to know each other during a cruise on the Oslo fjord, whilst enjoying by a truly Norwegian summer meal of fresh prawns. The night will be spent in historical surroundings at one of Oslo's charming hotels.

Day 2 - Go weeest, where the skies are blue…

From Oslo the team will get on the “Norway. Your Way”-bus and head west. Along the trip there will be time for a first encounter with the untouched Norwegian nature at Dagali – let’s take the team rafting to get the adrenaline going! If the weather permits, the day will end in a true Norwegian moment in a tent in the mountains, cooking dinner over a bonfire and enjoying the late summer night.

Day 3 - Bicycling along the Rallarvegen to Flåm

Let's hope the sun (and not the rain) wakes the team up at dawn, they have a train to catch! From Haugastøl, in the mountains between Oslo and Bergen, the train will take the team on a voyage through beautiful scenery along Europe’s highest railway. At Myrdal, our friends will jump off and continue to Flåm by bicycle along the Rallarvegen navvies' road. The evening will be spent in Østerbø lodge, in the dramatic Aurlandsdalen valley. This is the heart of Fjord Norway!

Day 4 - The Sognefjord, Norway's deepest and longest fjord

The area where this deep and mighty fjord meets the glaciers on the slopes of Norway's highest mountains is considered one of the world's most beautiful travel destinations. Our creatives will start day 4 in a kayak to explore Aurlandsfjorden, one of Sognefjordens arms. There will be time for a taste of World Heritage before the trip continues by boat on The King of Fjords all the way to Bergen in the late evening. In Bergen the team will spend a night at one of the Historic Hotels of Norway.

Day 5 - The Gateway to the fjords

Bergen has extended a warm welcome to its visitors for more than 900 years – it truly is an old city with a young outlook. It likes to describe itself as the city with its feet in the sea, its head in the skies and its heart in the right place. This city is full of infectious enthusiasm, which it is happy to share with visitors. The team will try out Bergen's hospitality and make friends with its inhabitants – several challenges are waiting, and the team will discover the true spirit of this Hanseatic city.

Day 6 - Island hopping along the Fjord Coast

Departing from Bergen in the morning, the team will go on a journey with the post-boat between the array of islands and bays in Solund! They will experience the idyllic island of Gåsvær and disembark on Bulandet to bicycle across the bridges connecting the islands. The journey continues by boat all the way up north to Selje where a surprise is awaiting them – a pure Norway moment, that's for sure!

Day 7 - Sandy white beaches in Vågsøy

Stad is located to the northwest of Fjord Norway in Nordfjord, home to some of Norway's most impressive coastal landscape. The combination of fantastic nature and the strong forces of nature pave the way for great experiences teetering on the edge of west cape. Our creatives will be given the opportunity to test the power of the sea and the wind – it's time for a surfing session! In the afternoon the journey continues back inland, where the team will overnight close to the Jostedalen glacier.

Day 8 - Glacier hiking in Jostedal

Glaciers are more or less permanent collections of ice and hard snow, and there are a total of 1600 glaciers in Norway. The valleys and fjords of Norway are examples of a landscape that has been shaped by the movement of glaciers thousands of years ago. Our creatives will get a glimpse of some of Norway's geological history through a little hike on the Nigardsbreen, one of the most easily accessible glaciers in the world. Get your ice picks ready!

Day 9 - A journey through the mountains

On the way back east (oh no, the journey is reaching its end!) the team will travel along the old Sognefjell road from Luster and via Lom towards Oslo. The Sognefjell road is the highest and most impressive mountain pass in Northern Europe (highest point 1,434 metres above sea level). Along the way there are more records: the Galdhøpiggen, Norway's highest mountain, and mainland Norway's largest glacier, the Jostedalsbreen. A day's travel through stunning scenery rounds off the team's last impression of Norway.
